UK Rates are the costs for calling geographic numbers (01, 02, 03) and UK mobiles (most 07 numbers, excluding 076 and Jersey/Guernsey/Isle of Man). Not all calls to mobile numbers are included here.

International call prices (calls to Non-UK destinations) can change regularly.
We suggest, to avoid any concerns when calling international numbers, you check our pricelist before you
make your call.
Early Termination Charges
When you signed up for your Broadband and/or Voice services with us, you did this for a minimum term. This minimum term, under our standard Residential Terms and Conditions, will have been for a period of 12 months. This is the length of time that you committed to retaining and paying for your service(s). The minimum term runs from the day your service(s) became active for a period of 365 calendar days. Where you may have benefitted from any free period of access i.e. goodwill gestures and promotions etc. then your minimum term will have commenced from the point at which your free period came to an end and your chargeable service(s) commenced. At the end of your minimum term, you may terminate your service(s) at no cost to you, subject to you providing 30 days’ notice to us during which time you will still need to retain and pay for the service(s). If, however, you decide that during your minimum term you no longer wish to continue your service(s), Early Termination Charges will apply. This is because you will be ending your contract with us early.
How Much Will I Have to Pay?
The Early Termination Charge is the amount you would have paid for your service(s) for the remainder of the Minimum Term, less any costs we will saved by no longer providing the service(s) to you i.e. service provision, customer services, technical support, billing etc.
How do we calculate the Early Termination Charge?
- We add together all outstanding monthly charges for the remainder of your contract, taking into account any discounts you might receive.
- We then take off VAT at the current rate.
- Next, we subtract a 5% discount to allow for any savings we make as a result of you leaving early.
- Finally, we add on VAT at the current rate.
Worked Example
A customer who has taken our 500Mbit/s Ultrafast broadband package will be paying a total of £45.00 (inc. VAT) per month. If the service is terminated with 4 months of the contract remaining after 30 days’ notice is given, the Early Termination Charge would be calculated as follows:
- You pay £45 (inc. VAT) a month. You have four months left in your minimum term. We multiply £45 by four months, totalling £180.00
- We take off VAT, reducing it to £150.00
- We apply a 5% discount to allow for any cost savings we make (in this case, £150 x 5% = £7.50), which reduces the amount to £142.50
- We then add on VAT, making your final early termination fee £171.00
